The first album is more commercial, sure- and had more impact, but the playing on S&D is just on another level.

I like them both.  The second album possibly took a bit longer to get into but the idea it was a weak follow-up was nonsense.

I think perhaps my favourite songs are on the first album but it's a bit patchy.  The second is more consistently good.
