I have no basis for this but I'm hopeful! We've got the recently released Jazzmaster limited runs with the gold pickguards, I'm hoping these Jags and Mustangs complete the limited run set,

Despite having a Daphne blue Jazzmaster and a Shell Pink strat I'm still going to have to get one of these jags, no choice!

The red and blue Mustangs are attractive colours but slightly incongruous on what was originally a "student" model.

I’m just bracing myself for the probable disappointment. The fact they’re taking orders in the US and not announced here doesn’t bode well. But like you, I might be forced to add to my SP Strat if the chance is there

Fender's usual practice with FSR/limited edition versions of production line models is to allocate them to their various international distributors in proportions that can realistically be expected to sell. 

e.g. There were a few hundred of the first run of the Redwood Tele-bration model. Approximately forty of them came to the UK. There would have been a unseemly scrabble as the dealers attempted to secure them. 

I dare say that @MattFGBI could enlarge on this topic but might prefer not to.

The Squier FSR Esquire announced at the start of this year is apparently now coming in November. So, I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for these.

I'm not convinced there's a repeated process behind these things though.  An example being these limited Jazzmasters which were only found a few days before summer Namm, and they are already available:

Probably not. 
I remember my discussion with that chap from Digitech who said they were put under pressure to have something to show at NAMM even if it was months off being ready.

To my eyes, that shade of blue is a halfway house between Sonic and Daphne. Proper Dupont Daphne Blue is a more camp baby blue shade. 

The red tort and block inlays jar. Dot inlays, please.

Stock photos hardly ever represent the true shade.

I'll be getting the shell pink jag, really pleased they are making it to these shores.
