Reverb Tank - This Way Up?

I have a Fender Twin (1975ish) and I'm wondering if there's a correct way up for the reverb tank, and if so, which side should be on top.

Anyone know? Thanks!

    The open side should face down away from the amp chassis, and the output end of the tank should be at the opposite end from the amp's power transformer - ie under the Normal channel.
