I have been eyeing that one for about 2 to 3 weeks now actually but deep down I prefer a sonic blue or Olympic White.

I really like just about everything about that Patrick Eggle, and temptation was rising until I noticed the angle of the inner strings from nut to tuning pegs.  It's a deal breaker for me nowadays.

I just saw a 3 year old Andertons video where they did one of their blind tests on Fender Strats and in it they walked into the room with all the CS strats were, and the prices were around £2300.

The used CS now is £2700.....

Which means even with 10% off, I need a time machine!

But yeah, Fender CS prices have gone up astronomically over the past several years. Certainly the £/$ is not helping but I think they have just been doing above-inflation price increases because they think they can. Surely there will be a ceiling soon?

Although to be fair it isn't just them but its been a while since I looked at any guitars.  I have noticed my Bogner has gone up 30% since I got it.  it was £1400, now £1800.
