Bought the wrong pickups

Yep. Bought some TV Jones filtertrons and they’re Humbucker mounts and I should’ve got universal mounts!  :p

I'd never come across the differences before. Lesson learned.

Will probably be for sale on here eventually if anyone wants them.

    If they were bought new can you not exchange them?

    If not there may well be someone here with a humbucker-loaded guitar interested in installing some Filtertrons. Are they Classics?

    That would be me, although I'm probably going to grab some cheaper ones from a UK maker...

    No, shipping them in from overseas.

    Classic + bridge and Supertron Neck.

    I think you are looking at the situation from the wrong perspective. 

    As your pickups do not fit your guitar, you need to now buy another guitar which the pickups will fit.

    Keep them. It’s always a good idea to have some nice pickups in the spares draw.

    I think you are looking at the situation from the wrong perspective. 

    As your pickups do not fit your guitar, you need to now buy another guitar which the pickups will fit.
