Tele Jr project continues, pickup advice please.

So i've been playing about with the layout of this...

Having never played a single size humbucker my question is "is it worth the extra effort fitting the full size humbucker?" My assumption is yes, otherwise the single humbuckers would be all over the place. I am however frequently wrong in such matters!

If you want a nice fat humbucker then it's worth the routing. 

This was the best sounding bridge pickup I ever had on a tele. (Mojo WR style HB)

Like many single coil sized ‘buckers, the Duncan Li’l ‘59 has a small ceramic bar magnet on its underside, mounted between two blade polepieces, below the adjustable screws. This may, in part, explain why they do not entirely cop the sound of a full sized Alnico humbucker.

One which does is the Duncan Custom Shop Pearly Gates For Telecaster. This has an Alnico bar magnet. Unfortunately, it is expensive. 

Hopefully, Seymour Duncan Inc. will eventually condescend to release a Red Devil For Telecaster.
