That new Alternative Reality Electric XII from Fender....

What's Hot
Apparently it is a limited run and I am very tempted by the LPB.

I'd like to see some pics please

also, how is pronounced? is it "eksel" or "axel"

I imagine it's the former, as it'd be more alliterative, electric eksel

  • My local Fender dealership claims to have the first example in the UK. When I visited, it was on the bench, awaiting attention to the nut slots.

Indeed, and plays pretty nicely too - much more comfortable than a Ric. And the sounds are good.

  • I love it. I categorically don't need one, and I'm aware the shape and bridge are not quite as the originals, but it looks and sounds brilliant in its own right. Though there's a part of me that's always wondered about a Ricky 620-12...

  • After trying - and failing - to find one to try in person, where they seem to have sold out all stock in shops round here, I've grasped the nettle and ordered one from Rimmers...  Fingers crossed, NGD tomorrow!
