I used to lend a guitar to a guy in the band who thrashed it so hard his fingers bled. I had to get bloodstains out of the pickup rings and saddles. It was truly gross. Made me feel like a forensic scenes of crime officer.

I was playing a friends new guitar and must have caught my finger on the strings just at the bottom of my fingernail. It somehow sprayed blood all over it!

I did clean it for him right enough.
