Performer vs Professional Stratocaster

Anyone here played or own both ? Just wondering if the professional is worth the £400 price jump over the performer.

They're different so i'm not sure it's just a money thing. The satin neck on the performer will be prefered by some even if it's a cheaper finish. The pups also will make a difference with the pro being more rounded.  The Regent sounds vid does a good comparison & there's an Andertons with a player series to compare with.
