Mrs M had a strap fail last night and dropped her 1966 vintage SA50 resulting luckily in a bent jack plate no apparent broken wood. Any ideas where I can get a replacement before going at it with a pair of mole grips?

I would try tapping that out flat - well, actually curved, but you know what I mean ;) - before replacing it. It's a nice original part of the instrument and worth saving if at all possible.

    What @ICBM says.
That is part of the guitar that needs to stay there, so you really should get it panel beaten/ reshaped.
Mole grips are great things, but not in this case  ;)

Never seen the SA 50 before.
Quite a nice looking guitar, be good to keep it all original.
