The tail block has been crafted using half of the original tail block whereas the neck block needed to be a Frankenstein project of using the original block cut up, reglued, with the other half of the tail block, and an extra chunk of mahogany that I had lying around:
And here is where we are currently at. Next job to cut the sides down to size, remove the kerfing and sand the original lacquer off so we can bend them to fit the mando mould.
