[Incomplete] - Temple TM-004 (Tanglewood TW1000-CE- "From Bin to Life No.4")

A big thanks to everyone who has followed my upcycles in the past. The "Manbag" has moved to the side whilst it waits fore the back plate woods to be removed from this project! So the potential TM-004 build began when I worked for Tanglewood Guitars a few years back, and found this, stripped down on the seconds pile:

As you can see, a pretty tasty split running down the right hand side of the top.

Removing the tail and neck blocks.

The tail block has been crafted using half of the original tail block whereas the neck block needed to be a Frankenstein project of using the original block cut up, reglued, with the other half of the tail block, and an extra chunk of mahogany that I had lying around:




And here is where we are currently at. Next job to cut the sides down to size, remove the kerfing and sand the original lacquer off so we can bend them to fit the mando mould.
