    The Tele-Gib is where the first prototypes of what are now the JB/Jazz humbuckers were tested.

    One of Beck’s Les Pauls was refinished and had its original P.A.F.s interfered with by some Texan luthier. (I cannot recall whether it was the “oxblood” one or the sanded back to natural one.)

    Can't help on the story of the interfered PAF's, as I've not heard that story - But I know the Oxblood was purchased by Jeff as it is in its 'hot rod format - So not one of his creations as such - Think it was a store called Strings n Things in the USA
