    The cleans are very warm in a very 'Marshall' way... I often used the low gain input channel with additional effects for a cleanish platform... bit 'Wind Cries Mary' cleans if you know what I mean... Check out this You tube link to hear it...

    I've got one and it's a pretty killer sounding amp. Maybe not quite as good as my JMP 2203 but it sounds as good as most 900s and and you can pick it up with a finger and thumb.
