Allparts stratocaster neck, where to buy?

Is there any place that actually has a rosewood board allparts stratocaster neck in stock?

I'm trying to grab a hold of one or a 62 fender japan neck, but they're proving harder to find than I though.

AllParts UK stopped importing rosewood after the CITES change. I'm hoping they'll resume in November once the exepmtion for musical instruments comes into force.

EDIT: I've emailed them to ask and will report back

One thing to be aware of - the Allparts 62 neck is nothing like a real veneer fingerboard. It's basically a slab board that's had the underside radiused. That's why I stopped carrying them. Notice that the US site doesn't even show a picture of the "veneer" any more.

Oh wow, that's huge... to be honest I don't mind going for a slab board neck, but it would have to be a non radiused one. I don't tend to like the regular veneered necks quite a bit.

also the neck doesn't have to be allparts... I was going to buy a musikraft neck to begin with, but their strat headstock shape is annoyingly not true to vintage shape at all.

FWIW, I bought a Hosco Tele neck from Axecaster recently and it's really very good!

I haven't used Hosco before. I'll consider it for sure, but will do some research on them before diving in.

Me too, not installed it yet but looks just as good quality as my other Allparts and Fender necks.

Yes it is. The frets were perfectly level, not something you can say about AllParts necks.

The only problem with the HOSCO necks is that I don't see a bigger profile option.

They are pretty much the same profile as the SRO-62 you were originally asking about.
I've been trying to convince Hosco to make a fat and a v profile for a few years now but they won't budge.
They will do a special run so if anyone wants to special order 30 pcs of a  custom spec, let me know!

I used the 62 as a reference, but if I go custom, I'd rather have something with a bigger profile yes. A V-shaped neck would be perfect.

@lovestrat74 yep definitely a musikraft neck, the headstock is the giveaway. I think they're great neck, I have a musikraft Blackguard, that I assembled. But I'd prefer it to have a bit more girth
