Fishman Fluence strat set

Played a 65 Journeyman strat at a friend's 2 days ago. These have to be the best all round strat pickups I've ever played. I have encountered vintage strats with great sounds but with cons in certain switch positions.
The Fluence really works brilliantly in most positions and applications & the tele set is great too.

Are those the ones that need battery power? That is a bit of a large change to do to check them out.

  • I’m interested in trying a set of these. The Modern Ceramic is very good. Fluences do eat batteries though so the battery pack is worth it if you use the guitar enough.

I think I remember that they have their own rechargeable battery that goes in the trem cavity and looks just like the normal cover is on.

So if I remember correctly there would be no body modding required.
