Strat shape, but hardtail, master tone and volume controls, and the output jack in a sensible place. Also, Godin necks tend to be pretty good. OK, I pretty much know that the pickups will be a bit meh but otherwise it looks like something that's right up my street.

    I think the location of the jack on a Strat is a very sensible place - you can see where it is, it's angled right to feed the cable through the strap, and it doesn't stick out of the bottom of the instrument. The only downside is you can't used an angled jack, but then again, you don't need to...

    Oops! Hadn't spotted the price. I thought Sessions were normally around the £500 mark. £767 does seem pricey for what it is.

    I use a 90 deg angle jack on my strat - works fine.
