It will be a Suhr influenced take on The American Elite/Deluxe range. Mark my words.

The store where I teach got a Tele in last week, locking tuners contoured body and the finish was an odd dark color that changed from black to a dark brown depending on the angle.   Came with a space age sort of vintage looking square case.  Very slim neck.

Fender are a clever bunch. I highly doubt they will release a guitar which will only appeal to Steve Vai wanabees from Wiltshire.
