I saw it can be done by cable tie-Ing the block to the stop bar.
i like Ibanez necks with 24 frets , the rg421 looks great and I like the old rgr 321ex but it would be nice to have a bar. The 2 point on my squier contemporary is great ,dive only and I put Gotoh locking tuners on it.
Had a lovely Jackson sl3x but didn’t bond with it as the floyd was a pain, yet I’d got it dive only with a brass L bracket but it was noisy when the block hit it ,and fine tuners seemed a right pain.
i suppose my sensible decision would be go with the hardtail Ibanez . The Harley Benton fusion II does most things I need for the price with all the top hardware, ss frets,Wilkinson trem ,etc but it doesn’t inspire me so much . Love Jackson and Ibanez . Ideally I could block the floyd/edge dive only and that would be great .
i like jem juniors , the dl trem could be blocked with wood to dive only ,price point is good.
i get all my guitars set up by local luthier . Seems a shame to buy another hardtail as I have a lovely charvel ht , but the rg421 is quite sexy.
anyone else using a Ibanez ,dive only ? Cheers
