Apart from the marks on the top looks like a nice LPC at a potentially reasonable price.

I wonder, could this be removed or would you be looking at a pro refinish?

if it's just a bit of clouding in the finish then it wouldn't bother me in the slightest, in fact rather than have a go at rectifying it I think natural wear would overcome it

Its described as an unfortunate accident.  Spilled nail varnish remover maybe?

Sticker removed and the wrong solvent used to clean off the mark, maybe...

That’d possibly T cut right off. Depends how deep it’s penetrated the black nitro.

The damage wouldn't particularly be an issue, the zero feedback on the other hand when shelling out over 2K would set alarm bells ringing!

I use a Maguires similar cutting compound - Judging on those pics, I think it can be made less 'minimal' but I suspect it is all to 'impregnated' within the finish now to vanish - I suspect same as @ICBM , that it probably was a sticker and an attempt to clean

I don't see it as an issue at the right place, certainly as a players grade LP - Just a character mark of a used guitar with a story to tell - But again I respect the thoughts that many want no blemish at all , yet black is probably the worse colour to show up any hint of a graze

Turns out it was nail polish remover : )

I wonder how that reacts with nitro ?

(Must've been rife back in the glam rock days)
