They don't come around often but I'd love to buy a Lado guitar from the early 80s.

This one has been on ebay or a while now, so tempted. they always come up at the wrong time.

always been interested as my dad brought one with him when he moved to england.

Was your dad ever in Coney Hatch or the Lee Aaron band?

Not that I know of. He never really learned how to play :) I think he bought this as his first guitar and Marshall head then told me it never worked properly. I suspect not connecting it to cab may have been the problem

Always wanted to try one by that Leo Fender chap, heard he made some pretty game changing instruments.

Seriously, though, I liked the look of the Sid Poole (I think it was him) designed Westone guitars that came out about 20-odd years ago, they looked really cool, never actually saw on in the flesh though!

  • I'd love a Vuorensaku guitar - some of the coolest looking guitars on the scene IMO!

    https://www.vuorensaku.fi/custom-guitars-and-basses/
Very interesting. What's the price tag on these?
Pretty eye-watering, hence why I posted on a thread about guitars I really 'want' and not on one about great guitars I actually own!

Coda are the sole UK supplier I believe, so you could either order a custom build through them or get an 'off the shelf' one from their store if you were feeling flush..

  • Bilt Relevator. They apparently do a 12 string version too, so one of those as well.

Another Bilt guitar I'd love is the Zaftig-

Then there's the DiPinto Galaxie. I particularly lust after the serape edition-

    .. the Custom 77 Watcher T-Sonic-

...and I quite fancy one of those Eastwood Norma copies-

I wish I'd bought one of Chris Larsen's Girlbrand guitars when he was still making them. I was supposed to have been on the waiting list for a lefty via Westwood Music when I used to visit LA a lot for work, but it never came to anything and I never got round to chasing it up.

Mine too, I also loved the Viper when it came out. I finally got a Breadwinner but sold it fairly quickly. I now have an amazing Viper, which I sold and bought back. Tremendous guitars.
