1960 Gibson J-200
A rare opportunity to purchase such an iconic guitar
This is a unique opportunity to purchase one of THE most iconic guitars made by Gibson in the 1960's. The Jumbo-sized J-200. In its history, the J-200 has been marketed as the Super Jumbo, the SJ-200, and has even earned the moniker, "The King of the Flattops." In addition to its huge size and massive tone, the J-200 is distinguished by its array of high-end cosmetic details including pineapple-style inlays and a mustache bridge. This particular guitar has been well played and oozes nothing but mojo. There is no major damage to the guitar and on appraisal it is structurally sound. The original frets are low and whilst it is still very playable - the guitar would benefit from a refret in the future.
The guitar is also fitted with a Fishman Matrix pickup and is complete with its original case which is well worn - but an excellent addition to complete this 60's package.
