inexpensive but decent caliper / micrometer recommendations please

I want to measure guitar and related components accurately - but its not going to be a new career ... so sensibly priced items suggestions appreciated ..

ie Im seeing bits on ebay - digital readouts for £4  - Im suspicious but would appreciate any info

I bought a cheap digital one from Aldi a couple of years ago.
Worked as required. Might be worth checking out their regular specials as there are often workshop items every few weeks.

Any with stainless steel jaws should be okay. Avoid those with plastic/GRP jaws
