Best budget gig bag for Stratocaster shaped object?

Apologies we’ve probably had similar questions a lot. Just for use from house to car, car to other place and back again. A few pockets would be nice. 

Let’s say under £50.

Apart from the very cheapest that may be true. Andertons have an own brand one for £25 that’s the same level of padding as the £39 Fender one so I suspect that’ll do.

Check www.thomann.de for electric guitar gigbags.

They have them from economy to deluxe versions. The Thomann own brand padded cases are excellent and much cheaper than other makes. I bought two of the Thomann own brand V versions for Flying V guitars, and I am very pleased with them.

my dad uses a thomann one that cost around 40 quid and it is heavy-duty.

I’ve got a Fender one which is pretty nice and was about £30 new - the one with maroon bits and reflective strips around the seams.

It’s perfect for me. Large pocket fits an A4 folder, room for a strap/cables etc. Waterproof, can be worn as a back-pack, single shoulder strap or single handle. Nicely padded with a foam bit that Velcro’s around the neck. Pretty much everything you’d need.

A used PRS SE gig bag are good quality & can be bought for around £30-£40.
They have a few pockets & seem well made.
I have been using one for a year now.

Agree with the PRS SE gig bag being a top banana.............

I have several Fender gig bags I don't use........ probably fit your needs perfect but where are you ? Shipping probably makes it not worth it. I never heard of the 'land of the yam yam' lol

No experience of it, but this looks a decent bag for the money. Looks well padded. It can be had cheaper than the one below if you shop around on Amazon.

The one I’ve got seems to be discontinued and replaced by these - I’m not sure which is the nearest equivalent, but I think probably the 610 as it doesn’t have the rubber bumper round the bottom.

From experience with my Mono bass bag, if you walk or use public transport you do want that - it makes it much easier to stand the bag up on its end without worrying about it.
