Noob Mac to amp - compact setup

Hello, looking for some advice to help me turn my imac into a playback amp.

Essentially im looking for hardware suggestions in order to get a good quality guitar amp sound in a relatively small area (primarily for playback rather than recording), i dont have room for large active monitors and only need a interface for my guitar so i'd rather have quality over quantity. I've seen good reviews on the UAD Arrow in terms of latency and build so would this be a good option, and any suggestions on small active speakers?

I have around £800 to spend. Other than software let me know if i've missed any other necessary equipment

cheers

I'm getting good use out of a Focusrite Skarlett, 2i2 through a set of IK multimedia Ilouds, on my macbook pro using reaper and some VST plugins. A slate subscription will give you everything you need  outside of stock plugs.
Should be about half your budget.

I have a Focusrite Skarlett, 2i4 which I bought pretty cheap 2nd hand. Works fine with my macbook pro.

KRK make some nice small active monitors, your local PMT or Guitar Guitar will stock them for an audition
