SOLD : Bogner Ecstasy XTC 101B 2004

edited February 2020 in Amps £

For Sale my Bogner XTC 101B from 2004 in perfect working order in very nice cosmetics also.

Would ship from France but got a UK friend that would assist if needed for the shipping. I already sent something like 15-20 amps in the past to all Europe so I know how to pack them and would use UPS or alike.

I'm open for trades for Les Paul custom shop : R8, R9, ..., vintage Les Paul (not middle-late 70s), ES-335 custom shop, ... or Friedman amp like SS-100, ...

Some pics here :

I also include the pedalboard in perfect condition + a spare black grill front panel.

Selling Price would be £2000.

Thanks,
Fabien from France

Two solutions I can offer :
1/ I may be at Paris for Christmas holidays in my Family so can make half the way : you would have to drive to the suburb of Paris.
2/ I can send it to you with UPS : this is very safe and I got an original Bogner XTC package. If you pay with Paypal, you would have the Paypal protection on top of the UPS insurance.

Don't hesitate to PM me, I can send you my phone number so that we can have a talk about it if you wish.

  • BUMP for an amp that is more than famous for his blue channel... The 20th version is very cool but the blue channel is lost in this new version... The blue channel = some gain, some compression, very Plexi '68 100W kind of gain/compression and I know for sure because I got a Plexi 100W '68 ;)

Have a free bump - but I'll correct one point: the 20th XTC blue channel is amazing too ;)

  • Thank You =)
Yes, the blue channel in the 20th XTC version in EL34 is really amazing, breathing, much more vintage sounding in comparison clearly but I still love the Blue channel of the classical 101B : I miss the compression part of the tone. In fact, two really different blue channels, no comparison possible. I love both personally hence why I'm not lowering the price of this amp, would prefer to keep it.
I really don't like the blue channel of the 20th XTC 6L6 though but green & red channels are killer.
