24 hours without running water

Just moved into my new house in Leighton Buzzard a month ago.

Ugh. I'd be pissed. 

I don't drink the stuff but I hate not being able to have a full on shower every morning. 

Actually called in before, can't come to work, I feel like a tramp.

We went 3 days once because some cock turned a valve off 1/2 a km away..

Whole building. The factor didn't show their faces until the beginning of the third day when they got some serious shit.

They'd provided crates of bottled water but failed to understand the toilet cisterns in all the apartments were invisible, I.e. sealed behind panels. So we couldnt top them up with the water.

We had to use the bottles drinking water provided to fill the toilet to flush. I felt guilty having to waste it.

Finally back to normal now. Though there are some on Leighton Buzzard who are still with out.

I've learned my lesson. Only move into apartments with toilet cisterns you can access.

Water came back on at 6pm. 

Just been to collect shopping from Tesco and people are queueing round the car park for water. Seems half the town is still without due to an airlock in the pipes. Mental.
