FFS people why have I only just discovered this..

have a 144hz gaming monitor doing nothing since I sold PCs and I thought I’d give the Steam Deck a try on it..

well long story short, Steam Deck in desktop mode I have so far tested.

Cyberpunk
Hogwarts Legacy
Sackboy
PGA 2K23
Pure Pool
Road Redemption 

1080p, 120hz, VSync on,  med-high setting.

and they are running beautifully, Cyberpunk blew my mind.. 

fk knows what wizardry this machine is doing but yowsers it’s impressive.

@RaymondLin I know what you’re saying about the power switch which is why I was super careful with it so Thanks for that.

I’m struggling to get the ribbon cable into the mobo, any tips? Lol

Sorry @RaymondLin wasn’t an issue for me so can’t remember how I did it.

it was the battery connector I had prob with.

Managed to get it in, the back light comes on, I get the gameboy beep and the game loads, I can hear all the sounds but no graphics….i think I need a new screen.

Recently been playing through MGS Master Collection on the Switch. After seeing reviews I was certainly hesitant to buy it for the full price (it was like £65 or something). But got it on amazon for £33 and for that price, well worth it (down to about £31 now).

MGS 1, man does that look bad. Im a bit saddened that they released it like that. Actually looks worse than the original PS1 version. HOWEVER. It was still fun to play through.

About half way through MGS 2 now which at least looks pretty good and enjoying the game a lot. Runs really smoothly.

Yea I'm playing through it but got sidetracked but have picked it up again, it is good.

Hades 2 is out, unfortunately I never beat Hades, always falling short at the last boss but I decided to try and do it this week before getting the new one but my save didn't sync with the cloud when I had my Steam Deck repaired (again) and it's gone. I don't fancy redoing the whole thing again so I guess I'll just have to get the second one. Anyone playing?

I'm still playing Helldivers, it's a lot of fun.

I love Hades, one of the few games I actually finished, and in this game, you have to beat the boss multiple times to finish.  I was weirdly good at it and I think I finished it with every weapon choice too. I can usually do it in around 24 mins.  PB was 21 mins.

I want to play the 2nd one but I believe they are still missing 1 weapon in the game.  It is one of those games where once I start, I don't want to stop and when I stop, I don't pick up again.

am addicted to ets2 and ats since buying them a month or so ago. the 1.50 patch has been released for ets 2 today also (just downloading it atm).

i have just bought rimworld as i have read great things about it but only quickly played the tutorial so far.

It was too consuming.

I'd spend days learning tracks, shaving 100ths of my time..Didnt pick a guitar up in 3 years.

I then changed jobs and had less home time and just fell out of love with it.

Euro truck simulator 2 and American truck simulator. If you like trucks and driving I can def recommend them.

I tried to get used to it but I couldn't. I tried for weeks but I had vertigo and nausea that lasted for weeks after I stopped. Star Wars Squadrons was like being inside a spinning top.

1.50 is one of the best updates the game has had in years. Very impressed. The same stuff is coming to ATS today. I prefer the European game though, I do have both.

That sounds very time consuming, sounds like you were getting lost in it.
