I'm sure I'll still enjoy it, but I'm not expecting it to be my favourite.
We just watched all of the films in chronological order too to get ready for it, Rogue One's still my favourite, but I was more impressed by TLJ this time around (3rd viewing). It's not amazing, and I'm still annoyed by some plot aspects of it, but it does have some beautiful sequences - it just didn't really have the "feel" of the other saga films.
Off tonight for midnight showing with some chums. Whilst they haven't all been stellar pieces of cinematic history, they are at least entertaining an visually spectacular. Especially if you can switch off to the plot inconsistencies, poor script/acting and WTF moments in TLJ.....
Looking forward to it

I definitely will, although I might wait until after Christmas when it's quietened down a bit...

The one thing I would say is that Star Wars Rebels has an imprint on this film, and Disney would be foolish not to explore that storyline.
Enjoy it, and dont think too hard about it.

but it’s okay, I mean I didn’t look at my watch once so held my attention and that means I wasn’t bored so it did the job.
best Star Wars movie ever? Nope. I actually liked The Force Awakens the best out of the latest 3.
