This is something that I'm quite proud of. It was musically and technically pushing boundaries for me. Recorded and mixed in Ableton. 

Partially recorded in the space in the videos (95% of harmony lines). Partially in this space (main vox)! Comments and criticisms (especially on production) appreciated!

That was lovely mate. I've always been a fan of close vocal harmony acapella. Is that your arrangement?
Very nice job and I especially like the stereo trick with those ping-pong vocals. She's a great singer too.

Yep! I arranged it and notated almost every single note in Sibelius, except the lead line where I let my vocalist do her thing.

Recording the harmonies was a full day's work, 8 hours non-stop with a quick lunch break. Lead line and other small parts took a couple of hours. Mixing was spread out over 2 weeks, and that's just the audio..

Great job mate. I am no audio expert but it sounds polished and "proper" to me.

hah, they're leaning against a wall and a rack so are fairly secure!

You don't have to be an audio expert to know when something sounds off/not polished, even if you can't place it, so that's very encouraging! Thanks!

Yes! Big thanks for the nudge towards davinci resolve. Worked a treat! (other than the fact that my gaming laptop GPU couldn't output all 7 videos at the same time in preview)

Cheers guys! Honestly, I didn't really like acapella and avoided groups like pentatonix and the like (still dont listen to them). It never appealed to me. I only got really into the style after hearing Jacob Collier's material which blew my mind.

That was a beautiful sound, for me there's quite possibly no better sound than a multitracked vocal harmony from a single singer.

Always find siblings to be great for harmonies and twins even better so multitracking the same person is just that to the next degree.

Can I ask what mic was used? (might as well get geeky).

P.S. there's a line running through the middle that makes her look like she's a Canadian in South Park lol

Haha. Please do get geeky. Rode NT1A into an RME babyface Pro! Had the mic for years and it's worked really well for me.
