That’s great, thanks for posting it.

I watched it thinking how he still looks good but then remembered that 1999 is now more than 20 years ago. Bonkers, I’m sure it only feels like a couple of years back

I agree saw him a few times over the last couple of years and back in 2004ish,  totally effortless when i saw him with the stray cats last year, must have had that bassman well and truly cranked on the above vid, mine never sounded like that at  volume sounds more like a marshall there!

Saw them at Newcastle Mayfair, November 1980, bloody amazing gig.
Place was a lot less than full, but the atmosphere that the band generated was fantastic.

Great band, and a tear in the eye for a venue that I played a few times and loved. Special to me because my ,future and now wife of 29 years came to a gig there on our guest list and hadn't got a clue who the guy talking to her across the post gig table was (not me.I was being sociable elsewhere). Turned out she couldn't give a xxxx who the Clash were, I realised that I needed a relationship out side of the business and here we are.
My first gig there (late 70's) I watched a guy consistently put his head in the bass bin, then stagger off and fall over. Hope he's ok/alive   :)
