Ordered one of these from Thomman on 23/12/19
https://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_bt_70vs.htmIt arrived yesterday, which isn't bad considering Bank Holidays, etc. Price was 168 euros(£143.10 that day), but if I had payed using PayPal, they use their own imaginative currency converter which would have cost me an extra £6.00. Shipping was included in the price.
It needed a tweak on the truss rod, one of the frets needed dressing and the bridge adjusting to set it up. Apart from that I can't find fault with the build quality. It has 2 active pick ups that are on a push/pull selector, 1 volume and 2 tone controls that give it scope for a good range of sounds.
Its solid Mahogany with a fixed neck so it's quite hefty, but the solid neck along with the long scale give it great sustain.
Overall, for the money, it's a great looking, great sounding bass...but probably not an ideal first bass.
