Trans gold nitro?

Is a transparent gold top finish possible? It’s actually for a strat body but would like it weathered, on the turn, not bling looking

My Gold Top lacquer is transparent if you spray just a few coats. It's just bronze powder in clear lacquer so needs several coats to become opaque.

My gold burst isn't transparent but you can see the wood grain clearly. Definitely not bling either.

Thanks for chipping in. All that sounds good, I'm not after totally trans, just a bit pale and see the grain coming through. Steve - expect and order soon  fingers crossed
