For those who haven't had their hands on a Sobell, here's a quick shot of the lower bout profile which shows that there is a bit of Archtop DNA in all of Stefan's guitar to a certain degree. This is my Adi /Braz MS model. The curve in the top and back is not down to camera perspective, it really is quite a pronounced curve from mid bout to sides. Though this guitar does not sound like an arch top, there is something there in terms of power and clarity that is a distinctive of Stefan's work. One guitar I will never part with !
