My teacher gives me pieces to learn, then I record and post to soundcloud so he can give me feedback outside the lesson (hes cool that way).

Last thing I got was the solo for always because I was bemused by how few notes are in the pentatonic scale.

Plus, in spite of Bon Jovi, we both like Richie's playing.

Signal chain was Tele (neck PU) into MXR custom comp, TS clean boost, SLO clean channel, Suhr reactive load, Reaper, Silverface 212 and Blonde 1x12 IR's panned left and right, a Leslie sim, plus I found a backing track from YT.

Actually came out particularly well compared to how my stuff usually does.

love Bon jovi got all the 80s stuff on vinyl not keen on later stuff but we’re some highlights like always . Fave album is 7800f but slippery is outstanding and the self titled debut .

7800f is such an underrated album - some stellar work from Richie on that album.

Sadly Jon's voice isn't good anymore but he was great in their 80s prime
