I will say, though, that Musicman guitars are woefully underrated in the UK (and elsewhere). I have had loads (all s/h) and each and every one has had fabulous fit and finish for a very reasonable price tag. Easily up there with PRS and Suhr at much less £££.

Sound? Well, my MM EVH is the longest surviving of my guitars and I have no plans to sell it. Nothing I've heard does that bridge humbucker thing better.

I've had my 97 Axis now for over 12 years and whilst countless other guitars have come and gone that bridge pickup into a filthy amp is still amazing

This version is new Dimarzio passive set with an active boost on push push tone pot - the transition bridge screams and the custom single coils are a great balance between vintage n modern voicing, genuinely very impressed
