NAMM 2020 - SIRE Electric Guitars (Larry Carlton Models)

I'm a big fan of SIRE and have 2 of their Marcus Miller basses and they punch well above their weight.

Well, as hinted last year, they're releasing electric guitars and they've worked with LA session legend, Larry Carlton to release an LP type but also a 335 and Valley Arts-inspired Strat and supposedly, these will come in at @£500

I look forward to trying these!

They look nice! Heard great things about the Sire basses, will have to give that Strat-type model a go!

Well... apart from the burst, yes. But that clown burst on the featured 335 alike is vile.

I have one of their basses - the M5 - which was an 18th present from my folks. I love that and can't wait to try one of these.

Did initially tbink the 335 style would be something I would be interested in, and maybe it sounds and plays great, but I can't help comparing it to the Ibanez AS93FM Violin Sunburst - only slightly more money, also has an ebony board with block inlays, flame maple, and what looks like a much nicer burst finish. I think that's where my money would go to be honest.
