I think this is one of the most beautiful guitars I’ve seen.....

Rosewood (and tone controls!) FTW when it comes to Cabronitas.

    Very nice, partscaster?

    Should have gone to Specsavers.

To be fair it’s nothing that a tone control and a proper pickguard won’t fix.

Edit: ah, wait a minute! Now I've seen it on a full-size screen, what I took to be a bit of terrible relic'ing when I looked on my phone is actually the reflection of the metal case logo. So it doesn't need a refin... just a tone control and a new pickguard.

Hmmm... where's that number for Specsavers?

  • Love it. I’d prefer a tone control, but if I had the chance and the cash I’d be all over it.

I think there probably was but it would've been 7 or 8 years ago, so lost when the old musicradar forum fell over.

  • I think the Gretsch style pick ups look silly, just get a Projet, I'm no fan of fusion anyway.

    That's
     beautiful.
Where did you get the body and the neck?

  • Needs a floyd rose, monkey grip, scalloping &  some judicious relicing.

The black double bound cabronita however.......perfect

Body was made by @guitargeek62 and the neck is a custom 25" scale baseball bat from USACG, iirc. Then all finished by @WezV. It's an absolutely stonking guitar.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...but just not my beholding eye I'm afraid.
I started out with nothing..... but I've still got most of it left (Seasick Steve)

I can’t remember exact figures but it was in the £1k ballpark, all-in. That’s for the “no compromise” spec - TV Jones, Callaham bridge, Schaller machineheads etc. It’s super-light too, with the semi-hollow body

Every so often I consider selling it - usually just whenever I haven’t played it for a while - but whenever I plug it in I remember why I shouldn’t :)

That's great, considering Fender is selling the FSR ones for twice as that!
I had the Squier version and sold it for a couple of reasons but still want a better version of it. Rosewood board, bigger neck, nitro if possible...
Yours looks perfect. I'd add a bigsby.
