Following TTony’s lead here is my entry.
I don’t have time to do a full build at the moment but I decided to do some improvements to my guitars as well as some other mods.
First up is a refinish of my very first part caster, built about 12 years ago.

It’s warmoth parts, I finished the neck in tru oil and the body stain + shellac and some weird semi relic attempt that I wasn’t too proud off.

Although I remember the shellac taking weeks to cure initially, it had become incredibly hard over the years, very difficult to sand.
I use a very matte paint for the body, inspired by my charvel DK24’s finish which I really like.
I sanded the original black hardware and screws , I thought it gave a more interesting finish than chrome, and would be a reminder of the history of the guitar.

Also redid the electronics to use a PTB ( high cut and bass cut ) circuit and I’m very happy with the tonal range.
