My mate Q builds some lovely instruments. 
I've got another three of his, this is the latest one.

Madagascan mahogany, maple, 24 frets, Iron Gear Blues Engine & Dirty Torque pickups. Push push on vol and tone for phase and coil split.

Cracking guitar plays as well and sounds as good as anything I've bought from the big brands.

Cheers fellas, it is a fantastic guitar.

Another of Q's builds was this thinline tele.
We were in a band together with him playing bass, over the course of time I'd mentioned little things about guitars in passing,  my ideal guitar,  and one day, on my birthday he presented me with this monster.

SD quarter pounder set, flamed ash, 5 way switch.  

He's a supremely talented builder.





And of course the lightning hole lights up!
