I’d go prs se - Bernie Marsden or SC 245 - for that budget I think.

  • I have a 2017 tribute gold top and it's a good guitar. It's got a matt finish which can scratch up pretty easily. After a couple of years, there's a lot of buckle rash. It has no weight relief  and the neck is quite thick. The only thing I didn't like was the pickups so changed them for bare knuckles. Now it's my go to guitar for recording. It isn't as good as it should be for holding tuning and never really bothered to sort it out. Graphtech nut. At the price I paid (£649) I thought it was about right.
