Desperately in need of cleaning!

I always thought they were quite decent - I never really liked the mother-of-hairbrush pickguard and the banana headstock, but they were well-made, comfortable to play and the switching was pretty versatile - they probably missed the boat for being really successful though.

And of course it wouldn’t be a proper Gibson without a neck break... or two.

Friend of mine had one of these (different colour) when they first came out. I remember it being amazingly easy to play.

Launched off the stage, hit the deck and broke at the headstock and the body, repaired and hasn't moved since.

I had one of these in a natural finish with no scratchplate. Got it in a trade for an MIJ Jackson plus cash. Gigged it for about 10 years and it was a great rock guitar. Eventually sold it for twice what I paid.

i remember seeing these in guitar magazines, late 80's early 90's !!
my sister used to watch a teenage programme called  California dreams, I walked in one day and saw jake playing one!!
there was a few episodes where it had the silver gibson logo, then after that they put black tape over the logo.
