Gretsch binding help

I've got to repair the binding on a gretsch, it's got gold sparkle with a clear plastic glued over it, I believe it's the same as the drum wrap they use, if anyone has any ideas where to get this stuff I'd be grateful

I could probably get away with a clear very thin plastic maybe 0.5 mm to glue over the gold

Thanks for that, I'm just looking for thin clear perspex but I need to measure how thick tomorrow
