I've just been trying to help a friend out. He has two 1980's Tokai Strats (one is from c1984 because I can remember hi getting it). Both need replacement pots (although one is now just about servicable after application of contact cleaner).
He brought it over today and we were going to replace the pots only to find that the shafts are quite small (nominally 8mm diameter but possibly 7.5mm where they pass through the scratch plate). Before we go widening the holes in the scratch plate does anyone know where I could source direct replacements (250k log)?
