So my friends joked that when I did the "Jump" solo video, it could have been anybody playing because there was no actual video - only stills! So I recorded this when I got back tonight from work (notice the Bill & Ted t-shirt!). It's not perfect but I don't care - it's good enough lol.

I could have done it better with a few more takes bit life's too short - other things to be doing!! Couldn't be bothered with delay pedal at the start so just tried to pick the whole thing

Thank you! It's slightly frustrating as I know exactly where I went wrong in terms of timing etc but I am so past doing lots of recordings to get things perfect - I've an album to complete lol.  Nuno is defo one of my fave players.

Thanks! Have to say though my timing was slightly off in a few bits and I play one wrong note in the descending run at the end. That sort of thing frustrates me but I resolved that I would record these in 1-2 takes and no more so that it's really me playing and not after 100 takes to get it perfect. It's representative of how I actually play, basically. I always felt the most important thing was to get the "feel" of the piece down as opposed to getting it crystal clear.

Not my kind of music to be honest... but I can admire the technique; and a guitar player that uses his little finger (I wondered what it was for )

That's excellent work

I tend not to learn much Nuno stuff except when I have to. Two reasons:

1 - I'm unlikely to be able to do it justice
2 - If I can do it justice it'll remove the mystique, and I prefer to keep my heroes at arm's length

Stunning work - I can just about manage to do the Decadence Dance intro riff. Almost.
Wholeheartedly agree, not sure who else can play melodically and rhythmically as Nuno does. Especially his palm muting.
