Pocket guitars

Hi all

Does anyone on here have any experience of "pocket guitars"? These are the small neck-type gadgets - usually five or six frets worth. I know they make next to no sound, which is not necessarily a problem for me.

I am looking at whether they might help me to get more practice in. At present I am pretty stuck for space at home - I have one guitar and have to make a special effort to unpack it when I want to play. However there are times when I have some time, and not necessarily at home, when I could devote some time to practicing scales etc.

So, what do people think?

This. I don't believe anyone got good using those (those gripmaster things, for that matter)
