Converting combo to head

Having just today received an Orange 2x12 cab to run my Mesa Mark IV combo into, at some point I want to remove the amp from the chassis and convert it into a head.

I know Mesa do a rack head conversion kit but it's nearly £200. 

What else would you all recommend?

    Zilla will be able to create a custom head shell for you - I’d imagine it will be a similar price, but guaranteed to fit. Are you handy with a saw?

    I got in touch with Zilla and they're a bit more pricey.

    Try Modulus Amplification.

    Michael posts on here and he does head cabinets.  There are several styles on his website.
