Got my new Firebird finished up, just about, might be marmite with the pink and the non-trad head but hey. Haven't fret-levelled yet but plays fine with a low action, and the low-wind pickups by Fletcher Pickups sound flippin' great.
There's a series-split-parallel switch for the neck one, it's so nice & clear, more like a minihum than a fat bucker.
The body's cedrela with a 3-piece cedrela & walnut neck, the fretboard's local bog oak 5,200 years old. Hopefully one pic shows the rays snaking in it.
I made a pink scratchplate but didn't get the candy tint quite right to match the headstock so left it off for now. Pic dump -

Pink dot at the 12th, totally accidental... when you shave even a hair thickness off these the colour can totally change

@whitecat I think I know what you mean, I like a Bigsby well enough and had one on a Firebird before but just love a Strat trem..
