Shit, I could’ve bought one of those instead of splurging on pedals! They are not normally my sort of thing but seriously tasty
    How very rock and roll

Ahhhh 24 frets though so I’m out. Lovely looking things though!

Very bizarre indeed on what are otherwise vintage/retro inspired designs.

They've been there for quite a while now, were certainly at that price back in November. Probably lovely guitars but not getting hands in pockets.
Tipton is a small fishing village in the borough of Sandwell.

Preety sure a lot of Rickenbackers have/had 24-frets though? They're a big source of inspiration for Rivolta

I do. But then I feel that way about anything that isn't a singlecut....

I love my Rivolta Combinata, one of the best playing and sounding guitars I’ve owned.
I’ll be buying a full fat mondata as my next guitar

  • I'd like a Combinata in blue but with the original white hardware and guard. I don't think it looks as nice in chrome.

Well tempted by the black one at that price but it makes me think I could find one for £500ish used if one ever pops up...

The newer blue  ones are a gold plexi not chrome guard and covers etc.  Looks really good I think.

I like the natural one. Not after a new guitar at the minute though

  • They look like a halfway house between a jazzmaster and a Firebird. I'd play one.
Just so people are aware. I have no idea what any of these words mean.

I really like the headstock. Do they ever come in brighter colours? Say reds or surf greens?

Why does 24 frets put people off?

Unusual neck pickup tone is the main reason most people I know don’t prefer them. It’s useful in some scenarios - but as a general-purpose thing I would generally rather have the tonal palette of a 22-fret guitar.

    I prefer 15-fret guitars - much woodier
