Upgrade or ok?: Headphone content

I currently have a pair of these:

And I was wondering if it was worth changing them for something abit newer/better? I'm mainly using these for home jamming with the Helix but wondered if there are better things out there...

Don’t know those...but home jamming is just a matter of your preference....is there something you don’t like about them ?

I've never even heard of them but as a guess I reckon you can get much better and that, if you did, it would increase your enjoyment of playing through them.

Take that with a pinch of salt though, maybe they are a secret bargain and just as good as more expensive ones, someone could only really say who has tried them.

I wondered if because I bought them from my local shop and, I've just used them rather than have them because they are good. I wondered if I should upgrade as they have been repaired after falling off my desk for the 1000th time but I need to try some other ones with a helix.

Your probably find higher impedance headphones sound better, apparently the Helix can give a good voltage on the phones output but not a lot of current so higher impedance headphones would be a better match. This is true for a lot of headphone outputs on a lot of gear ... often they are just driven by an opamp which is more suited to driving 100 Ohms or so rather than 30 ish

If you are monitoring through headphones when programming the Helix, it would help to have a good quality pair.
