Anyone tried these? I am into wraparound bridges and black Les Pauls. Any thoughts on value? How about merchant music? Ta

The wording in the listing is suitably vague, giving the seller plenty of wiggle room for slithering out of distance selling return claims.
You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.

You might want to check the colour too.  Although it looks black in the pictures, the description says dark green - and I've seen dark green ones on eBay before.

Cool guitar, if it's a good one.

Yeah from my googling the oxblood seems to have morphed into a dark green over the decades

I had an Edwards LP in this style - it was purple, not oxblood or dark green.  Wish I hadn't sold it.

It's a copy of a 54 conversion, so wraparound with humbuckers

It isn't easy to do that with any les paul?

Yeah, if you're prepared to do the surgery to fit the wraparound bridge.  Or carve up your '54-style to replace the P-90s with humbuckers.

You'd need to dowel up the existing bridge and tailpiece holes and then re-drill for the tailpiece studs where the bridge is. There'd be some finish repairing too if you wanted it done seamlessly. Not brain surgery but not exactly trivial either

For more context, Gibson did a small number of these, they seem to be listed at optimistic prices on the off-chance that someone is desperate

That's interesting, I'm pretty sure they've previously been a lot more, funny how things change.

The "Jeff Beck" connection seems a bit random, as he never played a Greco and there were loads of black Les Pauls.

    Are Greco's any good?

I saw saw a nice looking 1975 Greco Strat for not much. And a 335 type too.
My Trade Feedback Thread is here

Been uploading old tracks I recorded ages ago and hopefully some new noodles here.

I've had 2 Greco Les Pauls, a super real and mint collection, both fantastic and easily as good as any Gibson, only problem was I made my own and they got sold
